Foresight News posted on X (formerly Twitter). Pharos Network has entered into a significant capital partnership with GCL New Energy, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, securing an investment at a valuation close to $1 billion. According to the latest agreement signed by both parties, GCL New Energy has completed its investment subscription in Pharos. This collaboration, driven jointly by both companies, has been in progress since GCL New Energy first announced the transaction on January 8, 2026, and has now been supplemented with additional details over the past two months.
The partnership aims to leverage Pharos' advanced parallel processing technology to address fundamental challenges in the traditional energy sector, such as asset liquidity shortages and low data credibility. The two companies plan to engage in deep collaboration in key areas, including the tokenization of new energy assets, distributed energy trading, and carbon footprint tracking. This initiative seeks to transform high-quality physical new energy assets into freely tradable digital tokens.
