According to Jin10, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens not to panic. However, the world's most populous nation is witnessing reports of hoarding, theft, and price gouging as people rush to purchase increasingly scarce liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, primarily used for cooking. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif warned in a national address that if the situation continues to deteriorate, prices are likely to spiral out of control.
