AI company Anthropic conducted a survey using its AI tool, Claude, involving 80,500 participants from 159 countries and 70 languages to explore their expectations and concerns regarding AI. According to PANews, the findings indicate that approximately 19% of respondents hope AI will enhance 'professional performance,' 14% focus on 'personal growth,' around 11% expect AI to provide 'time freedom,' and nearly 10% view it as a tool for achieving financial independence.
The survey also revealed that 81% of participants believe AI has partially fulfilled their visions, primarily in boosting productivity, cognitive collaboration, and accelerating learning. However, concerns were also highlighted, with about 27% pointing out the unreliability of AI outcomes, 22% worried about employment and economic impacts, another 22% concerned about the erosion of human autonomy, and 16% fearing that over-reliance on AI could lead to 'cognitive decline.'
