Dollar Index Rises as Major Currencies Weaken

The dollar index, which measures the U.S. dollar against six major currencies, increased by 0.28% on March 27, closing at 99.893. According to Jin10, the euro fell to 1.1532 dollars from the previous day's 1.1578 dollars. The British pound also declined, exchanging at 1.3327 dollars compared to 1.3382 dollars the day before. Meanwhile, the dollar strengthened against the Japanese yen, trading at 159.73 yen, up from 159.28 yen. It also rose against the Swiss franc, reaching 0.7949 francs from 0.7910 francs. The Canadian dollar saw a similar trend, with the U.S. dollar exchanging at 1.3847 Canadian dollars, up from 1.3808. Additionally, the dollar appreciated against the Swedish krona, trading at 9.4392 krona, compared to the previous 9.3320 krona.
