U.S. Missile Strike in Iran Results in Civilian Casualties

A recent missile strike by the United States in Iran has resulted in significant civilian casualties. According to Ming Pao, analysis by The New York Times and weapons experts revealed that on the first day of the U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran, a Tomahawk cruise missile hit a school in the southern region, causing 175 fatalities. On the same day, the U.S. military deployed a new type of ballistic missile, which had not been previously tested in combat, striking a sports facility and a school near a Revolutionary Guard military site in another southern city. Local officials reported that the airstrikes and nearby attacks resulted in at least 21 deaths.
