Hong Kong is set to host four major spring technology exhibitions this month, featuring the Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition, co-organized with the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau. According to RTHK, the event will see participation from over 3,700 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) highlighted that this year's focus includes a dedicated robotics zone, showcasing more than 100 robots across various applications such as commercial and industrial, health and lifestyle, and entertainment and social sectors. Notable exhibitors include four of the top five global humanoid robot manufacturers from last year, as well as companies from the "Hangzhou Six Dragons" and "Shenzhen Eight Kings" groups, alongside local startups and firms from the UK, Israel, and Singapore.
Additionally, the Government Digital Policy Office will once again set up the "Smart Hong Kong Pavilion," featuring over 100 innovative technology solutions. These solutions span more than 20 government departments and public institutions, as well as award-winning projects from the local innovation and technology community and students. This year's pavilion theme is "AI + Hong Kong," with eight exhibition zones focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in various sectors in Hong Kong, including "AI + Public Services" and "AI + Medical Innovation."
