An Iranian media report has confirmed the death of a senior commander from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' special forces in an attack. According to RTHK, the Iranian Islamic Republic of Broadcasting stated that the Joint Operations Command of the armed forces claimed that the United States and Israel have only limited intelligence and are unaware of Iran's extensive strategic capabilities. The targets they believe they have hit are deemed insignificant.
Iran's Army Chief Commander, Hatami, has instructed the operations command to maintain high vigilance, closely monitor the movements of the U.S. and Israel, and respond appropriately. He emphasized that if a ground war is initiated by the enemy, no enemy personnel should be allowed to survive.
The Tasnim News Agency quoted an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, who stated that Iran will take necessary actions to prevent the Strait of Hormuz from being used for military aggression against Iran, stressing that these measures are fully in line with international law.
