Binance to Update Monitoring and Seed Tags for Select Tokens

According to the announcement from Binance, the platform will extend its Monitoring Tag to include additional tokens and remove the Seed Tag from a specific token on 2026-04-14. The tokens to be added to the Monitoring Tag list are Harvest Finance (FARM), Highstreet (HIGH), Enzyme (MLN), Resolv (RESOLV), Syscoin (SYS), TrueFi (TRU), and Velodrome Finance (VELODROME). Meanwhile, Tether Gold (XAUT) will be removed from the Seed Tag list. Tokens with the Monitoring Tag are characterized by higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens. These tokens undergo regular reviews to ensure they meet Binance's listing criteria. Users interested in trading tokens marked with the Monitoring Tag or Seed Tag must pass a quiz every 90 days on the Binance Spot and/or Binance Margin platforms and agree to the Terms of Use. This process is designed to ensure that users are aware of the risks associated with trading these tokens. The Monitoring Tags and Seed Tags can be found on the Binance Spot and Binance Margin trading pages, as well as on the Markets Overview page. A risk warning banner will also be displayed for all tokens with these tags. Binance will conduct periodic project reviews to determine if the Monitoring Tag and Seed Tag should be added or removed based on several criteria, including the commitment of the team to the project, the level and quality of development activity, trading volume and liquidity, network stability, and evidence of unethical conduct. Other services related to the mentioned tokens will remain unaffected. The updates to the Monitoring Tags and Seed Tags will be implemented shortly after the announcement's publication.
