According to Odaily, the development team behind the popular mobile game Flappy Bird has confirmed that the new version of the game will incorporate Web3 features, but it will not involve NFTs. The new game was first revealed earlier this month, with a hidden page on the game's website indicating its connection to cryptocurrency. This was confirmed upon the game's release on September 16, 2024.
A spokesperson for the Flappy Bird Foundation stated in an interview that the game will integrate Web3 functionalities and will be playable through Telegram, although users will have the option to opt out of these features. The spokesperson also mentioned that future releases on mobile platforms will not include crypto features and that all versions of Flappy Bird will remain 100% free.
