According to Odaily, SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce has expressed concerns over the agency's regulatory approach to the cryptocurrency sector. In a recent post on the X platform, Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett revealed Peirce's criticism of the SEC's use of imprecise legal perspectives to obscure regulatory uncertainties in the crypto space. Peirce stated, 'I believe we, as the SEC, have failed in our duties as regulators by not being precise enough. We should have acknowledged long ago that tokens themselves are not securities and then worked to address the challenges faced by the industry.'
