According to BlockBeats, Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI has recently moved into a new office located in the Mission District of San Francisco. This new office is in the same building where OpenAI, another AI company, had its headquarters for several years.
Musk's lawyer recently claimed in a lawsuit that Musk initially rented this office while he was an employee at OpenAI and has been paying for it ever since. In August, Musk listed the building for sublease, and OpenAI relocated to a new office just four blocks away.
On Tuesday evening, xAI hosted an open house event at their new office, coinciding with the conclusion of OpenAI's developer day event. xAI employees mentioned to an attendee that they had just moved into the office on Monday but would still spend most of their time working from xAI's Palo Alto office.
Musk has recently indicated plans to move his companies from California to Texas, but xAI might be an exception to this relocation strategy.
