SEC Delays Decision On Spot Ethereum ETF Options

According to Odaily, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has once again postponed its decision on spot Ethereum ETF options. The regulatory body announced that it is delaying the decision on a proposed rule change that would allow the Cboe Exchange to list options related to several popular spot Ethereum ETFs. The deadline for the SEC's ruling has been moved from October 19 to December 3. Bloomberg Industry Research analyst James Seyffart commented that Bitcoin ETF options are likely to be introduced in the United States in the first quarter of 2025.
