DHF Capital S.A. analyst Bas Kooijman noted in a report that these figures could further strengthen market expectations for a U.S. interest rate cut. The asset management firm highlighted that in an environment where the resilience of the labor market is increasingly questioned, any data falling short of expectations could heighten market caution ahead of Wednesday's non-farm payroll report, putting pressure on the dollar and Treasury yields.
