Stacks Labs Enhances Network Capacity with SIP-034 Upgrade

Stacks Labs announced that SIP-034 is now operational on the mainnet, potentially increasing network capacity by up to 30 times for specific decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. According to NS3.AI, this upgrade allows the network to reset only the specific resource limit that is exhausted during block production, rather than resetting all limits simultaneously. Stacks Labs indicated that the most significant improvements are expected in read-heavy and more complex DeFi designs. The upgrade does not directly affect STX tokenomics.
