Russia is reportedly close to completing the phased delivery of drones, medicines, and food to Iran, according to a Western intelligence report. The delivery process began in early March and is expected to be finalized by the end of the month. According to Jin10, discussions between Iranian and Russian senior officials regarding drone shipments commenced shortly after a U.S.-Israeli attack on Tehran.
Sources indicate that Russia maintains a close relationship with Tehran, providing significant assistance, including satellite imagery, target data, and intelligence support. The transportation of weapons such as drones marks the first instance of Moscow's willingness to supply lethal weapons to Iran since the onset of the conflict.
When questioned about the drone deliveries to Iran, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov remarked that many rumors are circulating. However, he confirmed that ongoing dialogues with Iranian leadership are indeed taking place.
