South Korean Police Investigate Crypto Investment Scams Linked to Social Media

South Korean authorities have launched an investigation into cryptocurrency investment scams connected to social media platforms. According to NS3.AI, the probe follows four complaints from individuals who claim to have lost approximately 1 billion won. The victims reported that they were convinced by acquaintances met online to invest in cryptocurrency, only for these individuals to vanish after receiving the funds. The police are currently working to identify the perpetrators and prevent further incidents.
