BTQ Technologies and Daou Data Collaborate on Post-Quantum Security for South Korea

BTQ Technologies, a specialist in quantum-resistant cryptography, has announced a strategic partnership with South Korean IT and payment infrastructure company Daou Data. According to Odaily, the collaboration aims to introduce a hardware-based post-quantum security architecture to South Korea's electronic payment systems. This initiative will incorporate South Korea's post-quantum cryptography (K-PQC) and hardware trust architecture to enhance the security of key generation, encryption processing, and key management. The move is designed to address potential threats posed by quantum computing, including 'collect now, decrypt later' attack models.
