Israeli Defense Minister Rules Out Ceasefire in Lebanon Amid Ongoing Attacks

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated on the 27th that a ceasefire in Lebanon is not feasible while Israeli forces continue to face attacks. According to Odaily, Gallant made these remarks during a meeting with Joanna Wronecka, the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon. He also issued a warning to Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem, accusing him of 'playing with fire.' Gallant emphasized that the Lebanese government must ensure Hezbollah is disarmed first in the region south of the Litani River and subsequently throughout Lebanon.
