According to Odaily, a victim has lost $397,831 after signing a 'setOwner' phishing signature that altered the ownership of their DSProxy. ScamSniffer reported this incident on platform X, highlighting the significant financial impact of such scams. In a previous report by ScamSniffer in August, it was revealed that crypto phishing scams resulted in losses amounting to $63 million during the month. Among these incidents, one victim suffered a staggering loss of up to $55 million due to a proxy ownership scam. This underscores the growing threat and sophistication of phishing attacks in the cryptocurrency space.
