Compass Coffee Uses Bitcoin For International Coffee Purchase

According to Odaily, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador announced that American coffee company Compass Coffee has completed an international coffee purchase using Bitcoin. Jorge Cruz, the El Salvadoran counterpart in the transaction, explained that he received the payment in less than 10 minutes, thereby eliminating the need for intermediaries in such transactions.
