Telos Foundation Unveils ZK-EVM Development Roadmap

According to Foresight News, the Telos Foundation has announced its development roadmap for the SNARKtor-driven Zero-Knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (ZK-EVM). The project will utilize hardware acceleration technology, employ TLOS as its native token, and implement rollup on Ethereum. The roadmap outlines Telos' plan to deploy a hardware-accelerated zkEVM on the testnet by the fourth quarter of 2024, followed by its deployment on the Ethereum mainnet in the first quarter of 2025. During the second and third quarters of 2025, Telos will gradually integrate SNARKtor on the testnet to aggregate multiple zero-knowledge proofs, enhancing verification efficiency on Layer 1. Ultimately, Telos aims to complete the full integration of SNARKtor on the mainnet by the fourth quarter of 2025.
