Blockchain Metrics Questioned By Developer

According to Odaily, EigenLayer developer Nader Dabit recently expressed his views on X, stating that most of the metrics used by blockchain companies for promotion are meaningless. He highlighted that figures such as 500 million transactions and 10 million unique wallets are insignificant in a world where these can be automated in 30 seconds using tools like ChatGPT. Dabit emphasized that unless these metrics have some degree of Sybil resistance, they hold no value. He questioned whether everyone in the industry is merely deceiving themselves and others, or if investors and the public still believe in these claims.
