According to Foresight News, U.S. authorities have seized approximately $31 million in cryptocurrency connected to the 2021 Uranium Finance hack. This operation was a collaborative effort between the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in San Diego. Uranium Finance, a decentralized exchange on the BNB Chain, was targeted in April 2021 when a hacker exploited a vulnerability in its pairing contract, stealing $50 million in various tokens. Following the hack, Uranium Finance collapsed, leaving victims without financial compensation.
