Metaplanet Secures $87 Million Through Stock Subscription

According to PANews, Metaplanet has announced the successful completion of a large-scale exercise of stock subscription rights for its 13th and 14th series through a third-party private placement. The company raised approximately 12.97 billion yen, equivalent to around $87 million. This financing round was supported by EVO FUND, with a portion of the funds already allocated to the early redemption of previously issued 7th series ordinary bonds. Metaplanet intends to use the raised capital to increase its Bitcoin holdings, aiming to strengthen its digital asset investment strategy.
