Seoul Mayor Supports Cryptocurrency ETF And STO Initiatives

According to PANews, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon has expressed support for cryptocurrency ETFs and Security Token Offerings (STO). In a Facebook post, Oh emphasized the need for South Korea to develop a regulatory framework that integrates virtual assets with the real economy, similar to models in the United States and Europe. He highlighted the importance of establishing foundational legislation for virtual assets, which would facilitate cryptocurrency ETFs, corporate crypto trading, and STOs, noting that these practices are widely accepted in leading countries.
