Ng stated that both citizens and Web3 industry professionals have inquired about a post on the X platform, falsely claiming that the Chief Executive announced the launch of a 'National Hong Kong Coin' on the Solana blockchain. The government has firmly denied these claims, labeling them as fraudulent. Ng urged the public to remain vigilant and not be misled by such scams.
