According to PANews, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant is reportedly contemplating resignation due to dissatisfaction with the Trump administration's tariff policies. MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle revealed on April 4 that Besant is frustrated with what he perceives as the administration's 'absurd' tariff calculations. During the 'Morning Joe' television program, Ruhle stated, 'My sources indicate that Besant behaves differently within the Trump administration. In terms of Trump's inner circle, Trump is neither close to Besant nor receptive to his advice.' Ruhle further mentioned, 'I've been told that he is seeking an exit strategy, possibly aiming for a position at the Federal Reserve. Over the past few days, he has been damaging his credibility and career in the market.' Besant has not yet commented on these reports.
