Stablecoin Regulation May Strengthen Dollar's Dominance, Experts Say

According to Foresight News, BlackRock strategists have indicated in a report that the latest U.S. stablecoin regulatory legislation could bolster the dollar's dominance. Earlier this month, U.S. President Donald Trump signed the Genius Act, aimed at establishing a regulatory framework for stablecoins. The strategists highlighted that this regulation is expected to create an international payment ecosystem based on tokenized dollars, further reinforcing the dollar's leading position. Additionally, the strategists noted that stablecoins could offer emerging market users a more convenient way to access dollars compared to their own volatile currencies.
