According to Foresight News, British man James Howells, who lost a hard drive containing £6.2 billion worth of Bitcoin, has announced plans to tokenize the wallet. Over the past 12 years, Howells has made numerous attempts to engage with the Newport City Council, including public proposals, percentage splits, mediation, legal actions, and offers exceeding £25 million, all of which were ignored.
Howells has decided to proceed without seeking permission and intends to convert the wallet's 8,000 BTC into 800 billion Ceiniog Coin (INI) tokens. These tokens will be matched 1:1 with the value of Satoshi, based on Bitcoin, and driven by OP_RETURN. The integration will include Stacks, Runes, and Ordinals, with the launch expected later in 2025.
