AMTD IDEA Group and Partners Integrate Cryptocurrency into Strategic Reserves

According to BlockBeats, AMTD IDEA Group, listed on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Singapore Exchange, along with its subsidiaries AMTD Digital Inc. and The Generation Essentials Group (TGE), have announced that cryptocurrency will play a significant role in their strategic liquidity reserves. The strategic reserves, comprising bank deposits and other unencumbered, unpledged liquid investments, totaled approximately $240 million as of June 30, 2025. The focus of the cryptocurrency asset portfolio will prioritize investments in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USDT. Among the three NYSE-listed companies under AMTD Group, TGE will lead efforts to expand and concentrate on opportunities and developments related to cryptocurrency.
