However, if these major players begin to close positions more aggressively, the key issue will be whether there are enough new entrants to absorb this supply. If demand fails to keep pace, the likelihood of falling below $100,000 increases. David Hernandez, a cryptocurrency investment expert at 21Shares, commented that Bitcoin's sell-off is a sign of market maturation. Paradoxically, while a significant pullback might dampen short-term enthusiasm, it could also catalyze a healthier market by redistributing supply from concentrated whales and corporations to a broader base of retail and institutional holders, ultimately strengthening Bitcoin's long-term foundation.
