WLFI Proposal Nears Approval for Token Buyback and Burn Strategy

The proposal currently has a support rate of 99.72%, with an abstention rate of 0.2% and an opposition rate of 0.07%. Voting is set to conclude on September 19, 2025, at 3:27 AM UTC+8. The term 'Protocol-Owned Liquidity' refers exclusively to the fees generated from liquidity controlled by WLFI, excluding those from community and third-party liquidity providers. Essentially, WLFI collects fees from its liquidity positions on Ethereum, BSC, and Solana chains, using these fees to repurchase WLFI tokens on the market. The repurchased tokens are then sent to a burn address, leading to a permanent reduction in supply. The official statement indicates that if the proposal is approved, WLFI will use this as the foundation for a continuous buyback and burn strategy.
