According to PANews, DeepSeek has issued an official statement alerting the public about recent fraudulent activities where individuals are impersonating the company or its employees. These impostors are reportedly engaging in scams under the guise of 'computing power leasing' and 'equity financing,' using fake identification badges and business licenses to collect fees from users.
The company emphasized that it has never requested users to make payments to personal or unofficial accounts, and any such private transactions are considered fraudulent. DeepSeek stated that it will pursue legal action against those misusing the company's name for illegal activities. Users are advised to obtain information only through the official website and verified accounts. Currently, all official web pages and app products are free of charge.
