Dubai's Financial Strategy Highlights Virtual Assets as Key Pillar

According to Foresight News, Dubai has unveiled a new financial industry strategy that positions virtual assets as a central component. The initiative aims for the sector to contribute approximately 3% to the GDP, equivalent to around 13 billion dirhams. Under the oversight of the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), institutions have recorded a total transaction volume of 2.5 trillion dirhams this year, with assets under management (AUM) rising to 9.6 billion dirhams.
