Binance Futures to Launch KITEUSDT Perpetual Contract with Up to 5x Leverage

According to the announcement from Binance, the platform is set to introduce the KITEUSDT perpetual contract on Binance Futures, commencing pre-market trading on 2025-10-29 at 10:30 (UTC). This new offering aims to expand trading options and enhance user experience, allowing traders to leverage up to 5x. The underlying asset for this contract is Kite AI (KITE), a project focused on developing an AI payment blockchain infrastructure. This infrastructure is designed to enable autonomous AI agents to operate with verifiable identity and programmable governance, while providing native access to stablecoin payments. The KITEUSDT perpetual contract will be settled in USDT, with a total supply of 10 billion KITE tokens. During the pre-market trading period, the mark price will be calculated as the average of the last 10 seconds of trade prices, updated every second. A capped funding rate of +0.005% will apply initially, transitioning to a range of +2.00% / -2.00% after pre-market trading ends. Funding fees will be settled every four hours, and the maximum leverage available is 5x. Trading will be available 24/7, and the Multi-Assets Mode will be supported, allowing users to trade across multiple margin assets. Binance notes that certain features of the project are still under development, and current utility may be limited. The platform reserves the right to adjust interest rates and other contract specifications based on market conditions. The transition from pre-market to standard perpetual futures contracts will occur gradually, depending on price volatility and the availability of a stable index price. During this period, trading functions will remain unaffected, and open orders and positions will not be canceled. The KITEUSDT perpetual contract will also be included in Binance Futures' New Listing Fee Promotion campaign and made available for Futures Copy Trading within 24 hours of launch.
