Solana Foundation Collaborates with Project Eleven to Enhance Quantum Resistance

According to Foresight News, Project Eleven, a company specializing in post-quantum cryptography, has partnered with the Solana Foundation to bolster the Solana ecosystem against emerging quantum computing threats. As part of this collaboration, Project Eleven has conducted a comprehensive threat assessment and developed a prototype Solana testnet using post-quantum digital signature technology. Within the collaboration framework, Project Eleven analyzed the potential impact of future quantum technology advancements on Solana's core infrastructure, user wallets, validator security, and long-term cryptographic assumptions. Additionally, Project Eleven deployed a fully functional post-quantum signature system on the Solana testnet, demonstrating the feasibility and scalability of end-to-end quantum-resistant transactions. Previously, Foresight News reported that Project Eleven secured $6 million in funding in June, led by Variant Fund and quantum technology investment firm Quantonation. This funding is intended for developing tools to protect digital assets like Bitcoin from quantum computing attacks.
