According to PANews, a Reddit post revealed that the financial application Betterment sent a suspicious notification to users, urging them to transfer $10,000 to Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets with the promise of tripling their cryptocurrency. Betterment's official statement clarified that this was an 'unauthorized message' sent through a 'third-party system' and emphasized that no such activity exists, advising users to disregard the notification.
