Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled is ending his first official visit to Singapore. This meeting follows an invitation by Singapore's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan spent the past two-day in Singapore, visiting the various sites, including the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre, the Singapore City Gallry, Marina Barrage, and Garden by the Bay.
During his visit, the crown prince also met with the country's senior officials and CEOs from leading Singapore companies in fields such as advanced technology, artificial intelligence, and urban planning.
PM Wong said in a social media post that he had a good and wide-ranging discussion with Sheikh Khaled that covered topics such as geopolitics, clean energy, tourism and museum programming.
The two leaders also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation through the Abu Dhabi-Singapore Join Forum and welcomed the sharing of knowledge and best practices in areas such as public administration, climate mitigation and clean energy.
The two leaders also signed a total of eight Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), covering collaboration in social sectors, government capability development, civilian nuclear energy, and executive education.
Among them were agreements by Singapore's Ministry of Social and Family Development, Public service Division, Civil Service College, the National Institute of Education and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy with UAE counterparts to exchange expertise and knowledge.
According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office, discussions during the visit will focus on strengthening cooperation in sectors of shared interest to enhance mutual growth and benefit for both nations.
