Truth Social Partners with Crypto.com to Launch ‘Truth Predict’ for Event-Based Trading

Trump Media’s social media platform Truth Social is partnering with Crypto.com to release its own prediction feature called “Truth Predict.” This move positions Truth Social as the first publicly traded social media network to integrate event-based trading directly into its ecosystem.

Truth Predict will allow users to trade prediction contracts tied to real-world events — including political elections, interest rate decisions, commodity prices, and major sports outcomes. The contracts will be made available through CDNA’s technology, offering a federally compliant avenue for retail users to participate in event-based forecasting.

Devin Nunes, Chairman and CEO of Trump Media & Technology Group expressed his excitement for the platform, saying

“For too long, global elites have tightly controlled these markets. With Truth Predict, we’re democratizing information and empowering everyday Americans to harness the wisdom of the crowd — turning free speech into actionable foresight.”

Nunes also noted that Trump Media now holds $3 billion in financial assets and posted its first quarter of positive operating cash flow since going public last year.

The launch comes amid a resurgence in prediction markets following the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket recorded a combined $1.44 billion in trading volume during September, setting new monthly records.

Kalshi is reportedly seeking new investment offers valuing it as high as $12 billion, while Intercontinental Exchange recently announced a planned $2 billion investment in Polymarket at a $9 billion valuation. Both platforms have expanded aggressively — with the NHL signing multi-year licensing deals and DraftKings selecting Polymarket as a clearinghouse for its upcoming prediction products.

Integrating CRO Tokens and User Rewards

Truth Social and its subscription platform Truth+ will integrate the feature through Crypto.com’s infrastructure. Users who earn “Truth gems” by engaging on the platforms will be able to convert them into Cronos (CRO) tokens, which can then be used to purchase Truth Predict contracts. Trump Media holds nearly 700 million CRO, reflecting its growing collaboration with Crypto.com and its ambition to create a unified Web3 rewards ecosystem.

Beta testing for Truth Predict will roll out on Truth Social in the coming weeks before a full launch across the United States and later global markets.
