According to Odaily, Da Hongfei is still seeking "limited cooperation" with Zhang. Da Hongfei clarified that the "mechanism" Zhang proposed was essentially a centralized management model similar to the Neo Foundation's treasury, requiring his approval for every transaction and expenditure. In contrast, Da Hongfei suggested that starting this year, the Neo Foundation and NGD would disclose their financial reports quarterly to enhance transparency and detail. He further explained that he had informed Zhang and other community members about the possibility of publishing news and blog content on neo.org and had offered the use of the @Neo_Blockchain account to expand their influence. However, this background information was not fully disclosed, leading to a presentation of "partial facts." Da Hongfei emphasized the need to document all communication thoroughly in the future. Regarding financial arrangements, Da Hongfei revealed that with Zhang's consent, NGD has conducted a transaction with the Neo Foundation treasury, initially amounting to $1 million, executed at spot prices. The aim is to increase NGD's equity share to align stakeholder interests and provide Zhang with operational funds for promoting the Neo mainnet.
