The Nikkei Index faced fluctuations and ultimately declined, unable to sustain the 57,000-point level. According to RTHK, the index initially rose by nearly 280 points, reaching 57,219 points. However, it closed at 56,806 points, marking a decrease of 135 points or 0.24%. This marks the third consecutive day of decline for the index.
