The Sagrada Família in Barcelona has reached a significant milestone with the completion of the exterior structure of the Jesus Christ Tower. According to Ming Pao, the final component, an arm of the three-dimensional cross, was successfully installed last Friday, marking the tower's completion at a height of 172.5 meters. This achievement further solidifies its status as the tallest church in the world. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, the Sagrada Família is planned to have 18 towers. At the time of Gaudí's death in 1926, only one tower had been completed. The Jesus Christ Tower is the fourteenth to be finished. While the exterior is complete, interior renovations are ongoing, with a tentative unveiling scheduled for June 10, coinciding with the centenary of Gaudí's death.
