Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated on March 3 that while there has been no official declaration, there are claims suggesting that neighboring Gulf countries might be retaliating against Iran. According to BlockBeats, Fidan mentioned that these rumors could potentially be true.
Previously, an account on the prediction market Polymarket, suspected of having insider information, invested $8,500 in the prediction that Saudi Arabia would strike Iran by March 31. The probability of this event occurring currently stands at 56%.
The account, registered only eight days ago, consistently bet from February 22 to 28 that the U.S. would not strike Iran on those days, winning each time. On February 27, the account cleared its holdings for the 28th and, eight hours later, placed its first bet that the U.S. would strike Iran that day, earning $34,800, a 366.61% profit.
