Meanwhile, the dollar strengthened against the Japanese yen, reaching 157.77 yen compared to 157.15 yen the day before. The Swiss franc saw a slight increase, with the dollar trading at 0.7827 francs, up from 0.78 francs. The Canadian dollar also experienced a rise, with the exchange rate moving to 1.3697 dollars from 1.3669 dollars. Additionally, the Swedish krona saw the dollar exchange rate increase to 9.2657 krona from 9.1761 krona.
