Iran and Turkey Discuss Regional Developments Amid Tensions

Iranian Foreign Minister Aragchi and Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan held a phone conversation to discuss the latest regional developments. According to RTHK, Aragchi emphasized the responsibility of governments to condemn acts of aggression, particularly those targeting schools, research centers, historical and cultural sites, production facilities, energy infrastructure, and residential areas. Aragchi criticized U.S. officials for publicly threatening to attack Iran's energy and production facilities, labeling such statements as criminal threats that disregard international law and human rights principles. He called for a firm response from the international community. During the conversation, Fidan referenced the recent quadrilateral foreign ministers' meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan, highlighting the regional countries' support for ending war and achieving peace and stability.
