He emphasized the importance of the meeting in fostering peace in the Middle East and stabilizing the energy supply chain.
President Macron highlighted the potential for enhanced cooperation between the two nations in the defense sector to help stabilize the Middle East situation. He stressed the importance of stopping violence and conflict in regions such as the Strait of Hormuz. Macron also expressed confidence that countries not seeking dominance and concerned about the current uncertainties could collaborate effectively.
The leaders also discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation. President Macron invited President Lee to attend the G7 Summit in France in June, an invitation that President Lee accepted.
