On April 9, according to BlockBeats, a senior government official revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reduce military strikes on Lebanon during a recent phone call. This request aims to facilitate successful negotiations with Iran.
The official noted that despite both the Trump administration and Israel stating that Lebanon is not part of the ceasefire agreement, Israel has agreed to be a "constructive partner."
This conversation followed Netanyahu's public vow on Wednesday to continue aggressive actions against Lebanon. Iranian officials had previously threatened to respond to the attacks and end the ceasefire. The Israeli embassy spokesperson did not respond to requests for comment.
