Kraken's Parent Company Acquires Bitnomial to Expand U.S. Crypto Derivatives

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken's parent company, Payward, has completed the acquisition of Bitnomial, according to Foresight News. This acquisition grants Payward licenses for futures commission merchant, designated contract market, and derivatives clearing organization, enabling it to offer cryptocurrency derivatives trading services in the United States. As part of the acquisition, Payward plans to expand Bitnomial's team to enhance its derivatives business in the U.S. Bitnomial will operate under Payward while retaining its existing licenses, regulatory framework, and third-party operations.
