Tracker Fund of Hong Kong (02800) was the most shorted stock at HK$9.994 billion, or about 16.08% of the total, and 48.2% of its own turnover. Southbound Hang Seng Tech (03033) and XL Southbound SK Hynix (07709) recorded short selling of HK$3.266 billion and HK$2.344 billion, respectively, while BYD (01211) saw HK$1.439 billion in short sales.
Tracker Fund of Hong Kong closed at HK$26.08, down HK$0.04, or 0.15%. Southbound Hang Seng Tech rose HK$0.01, or 0.22%, to HK$4.532. XL Southbound SK Hynix gained HK$0.26, or 0.71%, to HK$36.7. BYD fell HK$4.75, or 5.17%, to HK$87.2.
