BYD Semiconductor said its new-generation satellite-architecture 4D millimeter-wave radar chip, with Xuanji A3 as the computing center, has entered mass production, according to ETNet.
The chip is based on a 28nm automotive-grade process and is designed for satellite architecture with a high-speed MIPI CSI-2 interface. It is also compatible with multiple mainstream SerDes solutions and can connect with several mainstream intelligent-driving chip platforms. BYD Semiconductor said the chip has completed joint testing and adaptation with the Xuanji A3 intelligent-driving chip. The solution based on the chip can cover L2 to L4 autonomous-driving applications, including highway navigation, urban driving, automatic parking and blind-spot monitoring.
